ADRIENNE BODY BOOKS
ABOUT ADRIENNE
Adrienne was born and raised in a town (well it's a city now) called Tauranga, which is in a beautiful region of New Zealand called The Bay of Plenty.
She studied at Victoria University in Wellington, NZ (absorbing all the local art and culture as she went), gaining a double major in Art History and Classical Studies.
Adrienne then moved back to The Bay, to Whakatane, where (alongside running a business) she studied Early Childhood Education, Language and Literacy, Learning Development, and Human Development.

After a stint based in gorgeous Perth,
Western Australia, Adrienne has returned to Otakiri to share her love of stories, colour, and fun, with the families in the Whakatane district and beyond.

"For as long as I can remember, I have loved writing stories and poems. From primary school and onwards I filled all my margins with doodles, I did cute drawings and wrote silly stories and poems for my friends, always handed in three stories when the teacher asked for one, and in my final year I was awarded a scholarship for creative writing.
For some reason it took me a long time to come back to my roots as it were, to take the things I had learned and use them to do the things I love… putting them together with writing stories and creating images to make children’s picture books. But I’m there now, and loving it."
